此動畫主要以呈現物體運動速度與波速的關係,當運動速度大於波速時,會形成震波,其與運動方向的馬赫角與運動速度有關.
其中 馬赫數=物體速度/波速. 參考格線的一格寬度即波動在一個週期所走的距離.
當點選step by step時,波動將僅走一個週期即暫停,再按play可再播放一週期.
