範例:靜力平衡與正向力

如圖所示，長為L，重為W的均勻圓滑長棒，靜止在半徑r的半球形碗內，此處r<L/2<2r，若θ是平衡狀態的角度，而P是碗邊作用於棒之力，試證：(1)P=LW/4r (2)cos2θ/cosθ=L/4r。
